The countdown has begun, and the future of European tech innovation is about to take the spotlight! The prestigious “EIT Digital Champions” competition, focused on digital deep tech scaleups, returns once again to empower entrepreneurs and innovators to become Europe’s next big success stories.
This initiative provides a platform to highlight some of the most promising tech scaleups, identifying and celebrating the best digital technology ventures in Europe seeking venture capital at both the EU level and beyond. Winners will gain exclusive access to the 12-month EIT Digital Growth Services Program, offering valuable support and resources.

How It Works:
- Application: The application period runs from September 25th to December 2nd.
- Finalists: EIT Digital will shortlist up to 50 companies to advance to the final round, where they will pitch their ideas to a panel of distinguished investors.
- Champions: From the finalists, selected winners will be granted free access to the 12-month EIT Digital Growth Services Program. They will also be invited to attend an associated VIP investor dinner event hosted by EIT Digital.
Who is it for?:
Scaleups: Fast-growing European ‘deep tech’ companies with differentiated product offerings that leverage sophisticated, hard-to-reproduce digital technologies. These companies must meet the following specific criteria:
- Possession of a scalable product.
- Company incorporation after 01/01/2015.
- An annual revenue of €500K or funds raised exceeding €2 million.
- Headquarters in the EU or one of the Horizon Europe-associated countries.
EIT Digital Champions and the Growth Services Program are dedicated to promoting and supporting scale-ups with women in CXO positions, strongly emphasising diversity and inclusion within the tech industry.
